Road miles are measured on the driving network, not straight-line. Ranges are what the lane is paying this week for a standard operable sedan on open transport — an estimate to plan against, not a quote. Oversize, inoperable and enclosed price above these.

How we work with dealers →
More cars were posted this week than last, and rates leaned up: six lanes paid more, three paid less and three held. The Florida split is now four weeks old. Chicago to Tampa rose 2% to $1000–$1150 and Boston to Miami edged up to $1400–$1600, both the highest they have printed in any report, while New York to Miami held at $1200–$1300. Those two Miami lanes are the busiest on the board, so book them early. The trip back out keeps getting cheaper: Miami to Chicago fell a fourth straight week, to $700–$800, its lowest in any report.
Per road mile, New York to Miami leads for a third week at about $1.02 a mile over 1,220 miles. Phoenix to Chicago is thinnest at about $0.54 over 1,763, and at $850–$1050 it is also at its lowest yet. If you have units waiting, those two lanes into Chicago are the cheapest this report has seen. The biggest jump was Houston to Atlanta, up 45% to $650–$800, which is mostly a rebound from last week's record low. Atlanta to Dallas rose 15% to $700–$850, and Houston to Los Angeles rose a third straight week, to $900–$1000.
